Dr. Riley grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida and Alexandria, Indiana. Upon graduating high school in Florida, he served for 4 years as a combat medic in the US Army. He then attended the University of Florida for undergraduate, the University of South Florida for Medical school, residency in North Carolina, and fellowship at Indiana University. His medical career has been varied. He’s worked in offices, hospitals, behavioral health, nursing homes, and hospice. His career has also involved physician and patient education as well as medical research. His wife and him even started the first house call medical practice in Indiana. His interests outside of medicine are varied and eclectic. He enjoys walking, hiking, music, movies, history, travel, and exploring the world’s many cultures and foods.
